- Attend a minimum of 70% of all troop meetings, PLCs, campouts, service projects
- Keep records on patrol and troop equipment
- Keep trailer neat and clean
- Make sure equipment is in good working condition and stored properly
- Issue equipment and makes sure it’s returned in good condition
- Make sure cooking equipment, stoves, fuel, propane, shelter, flies, and other equipment are planned for and available for outings using forms in the troop handbook or planning tools of their own
- Make suggestions for new or replacement items
- Work with the troop committee member responsible for equipment
- Serve as a member of the Patrol Leaders’ Council
- Provide a TO Report to the SPL at each PLC either oral if you attend or written if you are not there
- Inform the SPL if you are not going to make an event and find a replacement
- Set a Good Example
- Wear the Scout uniform correctly
- Live by the Scout Oath and Law
- Show and help develop Scout spirit
