Order of the Arrow Troop Representative

  • Attend a minimum of 50% of all troop meetings, PLCs, campouts, service projects
  • Serve as a communication link between the lodge or chapter and the troop
  • Encourage year-round and resident camping in the troop
  • Encourage older Scout participation in high adventure programs
  • Encourage Scouts to actively participate in community service projects
  • Plan leadership skills training in the troop secures location and equipment
  • Encourages Arrowmen to assume leadership positions in the troop
  • Encourages Arrowmen in the troop to be active participants in the lodge and/or chapter activities and to seal their membership in the Order by becoming Brotherhood members
  • Plan and execute one OA Service or Fellowship event during the appointment period
  • Attend 3 OA Lodge Meetings & Activities during the appointment period
  • Serve as a member of the Patrol Leaders’ Council
  • Provide a TO Report to the SPL at each PLC either oral if you attend or written if you are not there
  • Inform the SPL if you are not going to make an event and find a replacement
  • Set a Good Example
  • Wear the Scout uniform correctly
  • Live by the Scout Oath and Law
  • Show and help develop Scout spirit
