- Attend a minimum of 50% of all troop meetings, PLCs, campouts, service projects
- Serve as a communication link between the lodge or chapter and the troop
- Encourage year-round and resident camping in the troop
- Encourage older Scout participation in high adventure programs
- Encourage Scouts to actively participate in community service projects
- Plan leadership skills training in the troop secures location and equipment
- Encourages Arrowmen to assume leadership positions in the troop
- Encourages Arrowmen in the troop to be active participants in the lodge and/or chapter activities and to seal their membership in the Order by becoming Brotherhood members
- Plan and execute one OA Service or Fellowship event during the appointment period
- Attend 3 OA Lodge Meetings & Activities during the appointment period
- Serve as a member of the Patrol Leaders’ Council
- Provide a TO Report to the SPL at each PLC either oral if you attend or written if you are not there
- Inform the SPL if you are not going to make an event and find a replacement
- Set a Good Example
- Wear the Scout uniform correctly
- Live by the Scout Oath and Law
- Show and help develop Scout spirit
