- Attend a minimum of 50% of all troop meetings, PLCs, campouts, service projects
- Function as an Assistant Scoutmaster (except for leadership responsibilities reserved for adults 18 years of age or older).
- Accomplish any duties assigned by the Scoutmaster
- Lead “15 Minute Leadership Training” before Troop Meetings
- Review campout and activity plans with the Scoutmaster
- Assigns duties and responsibilities to junior leaders as needed
- Guide and direct Scout activities through the SPL
- Provide Council to the PLC
- Set the example of leadership in the Troop
- Assists the Scoutmaster with Youth Leader Training
- Serve as a member of the Patrol Leaders’ Council
- Provide a TO Report to the SPL at each PLC either oral if you attend or written if you are not there
- Inform the SPL if you are not going to make an event and find a replacement
- Set a Good Example
- Wear the Scout uniform correctly
- Live by the Scout Oath and Law
- Show and help develop Scout spirit
