Assistant Senior Patrol Leader

  • Attends a minimum of 70% of all troop meetings, PLCs, campouts, service projects
  • Assists in leading meetings and activities as directed by the SPL
    • Keep the Scouts under control
    • Make sure the PLs are prepared
    • Make sure that the room/area is clean when we leave
  • Guides the troop in the absence of the Senior Patrol Leader
  • Is responsible for training and giving direct leadership to the following Scout youth leaders: Quartermaster, Scribe, Bugler, Chaplain Aide, Guides, Historian, Instructors, Librarian, OA Representative, Outdoor Ethics Guide, and Webmaster
  • Serve as a member of the Patrol Leaders’ Council
  • Provide a TO Report to the SPL at each PLC either oral if you attend or written if you are not there
  • Inform the SPL if you are not going to make an event and find a replacement
  • Set a Good Example
  • Wear the Scout uniform correctly
  • Live by the Scout Oath and Law
  • Show and help develop Scout spirit
