- Attends a minimum of 70% of all troop meetings, PLCs, campouts, service projects
- Assists in leading meetings and activities as directed by the SPL
- Keep the Scouts under control
- Make sure the PLs are prepared
- Make sure that the room/area is clean when we leave
- Guides the troop in the absence of the Senior Patrol Leader
- Is responsible for training and giving direct leadership to the following Scout youth leaders: Quartermaster, Scribe, Bugler, Chaplain Aide, Guides, Historian, Instructors, Librarian, OA Representative, Outdoor Ethics Guide, and Webmaster
- Serve as a member of the Patrol Leaders’ Council
- Provide a TO Report to the SPL at each PLC either oral if you attend or written if you are not there
- Inform the SPL if you are not going to make an event and find a replacement
- Set a Good Example
- Wear the Scout uniform correctly
- Live by the Scout Oath and Law
- Show and help develop Scout spirit
